Meet our team

Torrey Higgins

RN, NP

Torrey began her career as a Nurse Practitioner at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, specializing in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Endocrinology. She performed invasive procedures on young children daily and, over time, developed a gentle, precise approach to care something that continues to define her work as an aesthetic injector. Her years in pediatrics instilled a strong foundation in anatomy, patience, and attention to detail.

After several years in pediatrics, Torrey relocated to Rome, Italy, where she spent five years working in the Medical Unit at the U.S. Embassy, providing primary care to American diplomats and their families and gaining experience with a diverse, international patient population.

For the past 13 years, she has focused her practice on aesthetic medicine, with advanced training in BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Xeomin®, dermal fillers, Sculptra®, radiofrequency microneedling, exosomes for skin and hair rejuvenation, CoolPeel® CO₂ laser, IPL, and medical-grade skincare. In parallel, she has developed a passion for wellness and metabolic health, offering microdosing GLP-1 therapy as part of an integrated approach that supports improved metabolic health, longevity and overall well-being.

As co-founder of the practice, Torrey helps shape its clinical philosophy and standards, emphasizing thoughtful assessment, conservative treatment, and results that enhance rather than alter each patient’s natural features.

Outside of work, Torrey enjoys Pilates, hiking, travel, and adventures with her family and fur babies.

Lauren Marini

RN

Lauren’s background in aesthetics has been carefully and intentionally cultivated through years of experience honoring her patients’ beauty and wellness goals.

Her journey began at UC Santa Cruz, where she earned a degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Women’s Studies. Her senior thesis explored the culture of aging and what it means to grow older in a society so focused on youth. Inspired by this, Lauren pursued nursing at Miami Dade Medical College, driven by a desire to help people feel their best at every stage of life.

After graduation, she trained under a renowned plastic surgeon in Boca Raton, where she discovered her passion for the operating room—and for the blend of artistry, precision, and creativity that aesthetic medicine demands.

Lauren has since dedicated her career to the intersection of art and science, focusing on treating the whole person. She believes in empowering her patients through education, helping them understand the “why” behind their treatments so they can make informed, confident decisions. Known for her meticulous eye and commitment to safety, Lauren has built a reputation for delivering exceptional, natural-looking results that enhance her patients’ innate beauty.

Lauren takes the time to truly listen, collaborating with each patient to create a long-term wellness plan designed to rejuvenate their features and restore their internal glow. Drawing on her surgical background, she brings the latest innovations in plastic surgery and dermatology to her practice. She is deeply committed to ongoing education and to creating a welcoming space where every client feels seen, supported, and at home.

When she’s not with patients, Lauren can be found traveling the globe, discovering new vegan restaurants and recipes, and spending time with her husband, two young boys, and their sweet pup Blondie—who occasionally makes an appearance at the office to greet visitors.

Aimee Toubia

Medical esthetician

With over 15 years of experience as a licensed medical esthetician, I am passionate about helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin through advanced corrective treatments. Before joining Elevate Aesthetics & Wellness, I worked at one of the nation’s largest and most respected medical spas, where I gained extensive experience treating a wide range of skin concerns with proven, results-driven protocols.

I specialize in corrective facial treatments that restore balance, improve skin health, and support long-term anti-aging goals. My approach is both results-oriented and personalized I take time to listen and connect, tailoring each treatment plan to meet my clients’ unique needs.

What I love most about my work is building genuine relationships. Every appointment is an opportunity not only to transform skin, but also to create a space where clients feel cared for, confident, and renewed.

Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Hazel. I also love traveling, practicing yoga and Pilates, and finding inspiration in wellness and balance.

Sararose Benham

Sararose Benham graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Her career began in New York City, where she managed Citibabes, a premier family lifestyle club, and discovered her passion for creating elevated experiences that bring people together. With a strong background in event planning and business management, she went on to found and successfully operate Sidekicks Staffing, a boutique nanny agency serving families across NYC.
Now rooted in Marin, Sararose brings her organizational expertise, hospitality mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit to her role as Manager of Elevate Aesthetics + Wellness. Married to an Australian and a mom of three, she thrives on building community and helping clients feel supported, confident, and cared for in every aspect of their wellness journey.

Ginny Svigals

MS, RN

Ginny Svigals, MS, RN, is an Aesthetic Registered Nurse with 16 years of clinical experience and a practice rooted in precision, warmth, and patient-centered care. With a professional background in procedural nursing and advanced training in neuromodulators, lasers, and medical-grade skincare, Ginny blends technical expertise with an approachable, grounded presence. Her goal is to create natural, refined results that honor each patient’s unique features and long-term aesthetic goals.

Patients describe Ginny as calm, thorough, and deeply invested in building lasting relationships. She prioritizes education, transparency, and thoughtful treatment planning—ensuring that every patient feels informed, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout their experience.

Ginny is passionate about facial rejuvenation, especially neuromodulator injections and energy-based devices, and continues to refine her skillset through ongoing education and hands-on practice. Her work is anchored in evidence-based techniques, ethical aesthetics, and a commitment to subtle, confidence-building outcomes.

As a Marin local, Ginny brings a community-focused perspective to her practice. Outside the treatment room, she’s a mom to her toddler, Parks, and an avid Pilates enthusiast who finds balance in movement, family, and connection. Her patient relationships are at the heart of her work, and she strives to bring both expertise and humanity to every visit.

Katharina Simkins

Aesthetician & Lash Extension Artist

With over 20 years in the beauty industry, Katharina brings both artistry and heart to her work. For the past 16 years, she has specialized in clean beauty, blending holistic techniques with results-oriented skincare to create treatments that are both restorative and transformative.
Her journey began in Mill Valley, continued through Los Angeles where she deepened her research and training, and has now brought her back to the Bay Area, where she practices in Larkspur. Known for her signature facials that combine Gua Sha, energy healing, and targeted skincare, Katharina helps clients achieve glowing, balanced skin with visible results.

Expanding her craft into lash artistry, she specializes in natural and volume lash extensions that enhance each client’s unique features with elegance and harmony.

As a mother, healer, and seasoned aesthetician in her 40s, Katharina’s approach is rooted in authenticity, care, and a genuine love for helping others feel beautiful, confident, and renewed.

Dr. Khashayar Mohebali, M.D.

Dr. Mohebali has been a board-certified plastic surgeon here in Marin County for years and has a long and illustrious track record as a member of our community here in the North Bay. Dr. Mohebali serves as both the Chief of the Department of Surgery and the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Marin General Hospital. He also serves on the hospital’s board of the Medical Executive Committee, a position that gives him unprecedented knowledge and expertise, to better serve the San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Marin County community as a whole.

Dr. Mohebali is also part of the staff of Novato Community Hospital, Sutter-Santa Rosa Medical Center, and serves as the Medical Director of the Advanced Wound & Burn Center at Kentfield Hospital. Dr. Mohebali is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), and is a Diplomate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Cynthia Goodman

Cynthia M. Goodman, M.D., is an accomplished plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and practices in Marin County, California. Previously, she was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital.

Dr. Goodman was born and raised in Sacramento and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley. She graduated from one of top plastic surgery residency programs in the nation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

In 1994 she received the prestigious Samuel Spira Award for excellence in plastic surgery scholarship. She has authored numerous articles in the major plastic surgery journals on such topics as breast implants, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, and carpal tunnel syndrome. She has also made numerous television appearances including one on facelifts.

Dr. Goodman belongs to a number of prestigious medical and honor societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) and the California Medical Association.
